Overnight Ski Trip to Chestnut Mountain February 3rd & 4th We will leave Friday evening and return Saturday morning at approx. 9:30am. Forms are available at the Parish Office. Open to all High School Students. Friends are welcome.
Souper Bowl Time! It's been a crazy and unpredictable football season this year. What is also unpredictable is when some families will have a warm meal on their table. You can help. Beginning January 8th thru Super Bowl Sunday, we will be collecting soup and crackers. You can drop them off in the Narthex or send them with your students to Religious Education, where they will find collection boxes. Every can helps. They will be taken to our local Food Pantry. Thank you for your prayers and your generous spirit.
Sponsor a BunkBed? Deacon Ed has been working with a small group of Deacons who are building bunk beds for the Franciscan House of Mary & Joseph Homeless Shelter in Chicago. As one shelter closes, they are trying to make the most room in another as the winter months approach. If you would like to find out how to sponsor the building of a bunk bed, just ask Deacon Ed after mass or call the parish office and leave him a message. In the meantime, they can use new or gently used twin size sheets, pillows, pillowcases and blankets. There are drop boxes by the St. Julie Selling Circle. Thank you!
Crocheting Bed Mats for Homeless Vets Looking for a way to help out? Join us as we make "plarn" out of plastic bags. They will be eventually crocheted into Bed Mats for Homeless Vets. No experience necessary! Give Theresa Flowers a call at 708/532-4555 and she will put you to work. Ready to go ahead and crochet on your own? Pick up a pattern at the Parish Office.
MORE DAYBREAK TEAMS NEEDED If you and some of your friends or family would like to form one of our monthly teams, we are always looking for more support! Do you have time to go once or twice per year? Give us a call at 429-7377. Next dates: Feb. 5th, March 4th
MANNA CERTIFICATES If you are currently not using the Manna Certificate Program, stop by the St. Julie Selling Store and find out how you can build up your account to offset the cost of retreats, mission trips, etc. It's so easy! You can also call the parish office for information. Ask for Merilee. The sooner you start the more money you will save! And it's free!
